Erin M. Gibson, Esq. was admitted to the Maryland State Bar in 2006. Additionally, she has further training and certifications as a Mediator, Facilitator, Children’s Best Interest Attorney, and Child Privilege Attorney. Her current primary practice areas are family law, mediation, child advocacy, education, and simple wills. Ms. Gibson is also a court appointed Child Best Interest Attorney and Child Privilege Attorney.
Prior to starting The Law Offices of Erin M. Gibson, LLC., Ms. Gibson practiced educational law statewide. Ms. Gibson was additionally a legal advocate throughout the state of Maryland and worked in public policy in Annapolis, MD with concentrations in children’s, disability and educational issues.
Ms. Gibson received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore having previously graduated with honors from The University of Maine, Farmington. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Carroll County Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association, the Hampstead Business Association, and the Hampstead Main Street Merchants’ Association. Additionally, she is on the Executive Board of North Carroll Recreation Council and is Adjunct Professor at McDaniel College Graduate Program. Ms. Gibson volunteers regularly providing legal advice to individuals representing themselves at the Carroll County Family Law Clinic.
