Robert G. Jackson admitted to practice law in the Eastern, Middle, and Western Federal Districts of Louisiana, the United States Court of Appeals, 5th Circuit, 1983, United States Tax Court and State Courts of Louisiana, is the Senior and Founding Member of Jackson & Jackson, P.L.L.C.  He works out of both the Baton Rouge and the New Orleans offices.

Bob brings to the firm and its clients 45 years of experience serving as a mentor, facilitator and problem solver. Bob is known for his extensive experience in structuring complex commercial transactions and helping clients achieve their goals.  His practice is concentrated on business structuring, funding and tax minimization. This experience encompasses significant private investment  aggregation and funding, working capital with long term financing acquisition in excess of a billion dollars over the years. Bob’s diverse  legal, commercial, income and estate tax, and financial planning, consulting, advisory and negotiating experiences provide clients insight and  unique solutions to address the client’s goals and issues. Bob’s personal attention to detail and penchant of drilling down on the facts and the clients’ issues, objectives, and goals results in full analysis and consideration of all alternative solutions.  Bob’s personal involvement as principal or syndicator of small capital businesses, developments and family office formation,  funding, capitalization and operations results in a  unusual acumen enhancing  the client’s decision and problem solving abilities. Historically Bob often serves his clients as General Counsel, Agent, Director of Finance, or as a member of the Board of Directors.

Bob, a former Air Force Sergeant, 1966-1970, graduated with a B.B.A., from the University of Arkansas and received his J.D. from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. He sits on several Boards and Committees. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Louisiana State Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice and received the Air Force Commendation Medal in 1969.
