Joel B. Sklar sole proprietor of the firm, is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan. Joel is a trial lawyer, who specializes in the following cases: employment (i.e., whistleblower, discrimination, sexual harassment) and constitutional law, personal injury, including automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, no-fault, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), closed head and traumatic brain injuries. He has been in practice in Michigan for 33 years, and successfully tried cases in both state and federal courts, including two consecutive jury trials in federal court that awarded punitive damages for his clients.

Mr. Sklar is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, receiving his BA – Bachelor of Arts, his JD – Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and his MA – Masters from Michigan School of Professional Psychology. He is a member of Michigan State Bar Employment and Labor Committee, 2006-present.
