Before opening Harris Law Offices in 1994, J. Kenneth Harris was a Naval Judge Advocate and served in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years. He is a trusted, knowledgeable attorney that proudly assist his clients in probate, estate planning and other legal matters. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1985 and the Pennsylvania Bar in 1975. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia in 1970, Attorney J. Kenneth Harris earned his Juris Doctor from Villanova University in 1975. In 1979, he went on to earn his LL.M in taxation from New York University. In addition to his work at the firm, Attorney Harris is a member of multiple organizations, including the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Camden County Bar Association. He has served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Small Business Section of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce as well as a Chairman of the Taxation Committee of the Camden County Bar Association. Attorney Harris is a frequent lecturer before various organizations inclusive of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Camden County Bar Association, The American Association of Attorneys-Certified Public Accountants, and other professional organizations. Attorney Harris has also published articles regarding estate planning, tax planning, retirement plan distributions and other legal matters.
