Gail Tuler Friedman along with her husband Eugene, founded Friedman & Friedman in 1975. She has been admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Ms. Friedman is in engaged in trademark, copyright, corporate, litigation and general commercial law, special education law, and mediation.
Ms. Friedman served seven years as an Assistant State’s Attorney or Special Assistant State’s Attorney with the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office in Waukegan, then worked for several years as an associate attorney for a couple of Chicago law firms.
Ms. Friedman earned her law degree in 1979 from the Chicago Kent College of Law and master’s degree in educational psychology from the University of Illinois and state certification in learning disabilities and behavior disorders. Since 1991, she has served as a Level I Hearing Officer and Administrative Judge for the Illinois State Board of Education and as a volunteer attorney at the Legal Clinic for the Disabled, Inc.
Gail Tuler Friedman is a member of many professional and civic affiliations: The Illinois State Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, Advocates Society, Intellectual Property Section Council, Board Member, A Safe Place, Highland Park High School Music Department parent Advisory Committee, Family Network, Board Member. She was also an Instructor at College of Lake County.
A native of Chicago, Illinois, Gail Tuler Friedman and her husband Eugene have four children and twelve grandchildren, her hobbies are weaving, cooking, gardening, current events, music travel, literature, hiking, children’s and environmental issues, and government.
