Top Attorney – Claudia K. Braymer

Attorney Braymer practices law in the areas of environmental law; zoning and planning, and real estate. She was admitted to the New York State bar in 2010. She has experience dealing with projects that are pending before local municipal boards as well as state agencies, including the Department of Environmental Conservation and the Adirondack Park Agency. She has represented environmental groups, community activists, and individual landowners. Ms. Braymer works tirelessly for her clients to ensure proposed development projects are environmentally friendly and responsibly developed by making sure they uphold local zoning codes and state environmental laws and regulations.

Attorney Braymer  is a member of the Board of Directors of the Warren County Bar Association. She also serves as the co-chair of the Adirondack & Catskill Forest Preserve committee of the Environmental Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Ms. Braymer serves as a Pro Bono attorney for the Adirondack Women’s Bar Association’s Legal Clinic for Survivors of Domestic Violence.  She also serves on the Committee on Character and Fitness for the New York State Appellate Division Third Department. She is the director of  rugby for Saratoga Rugby, Inc., and the head coach for the Foothills Rangers Rugby Club.

Ms. Braymer was also a 2006 Women and Public Policy Fellow at the University at Albany’s Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy.  In 2016, she received The Post-Star’s 20 Under 40 Award for her demonstrated success and dedication to her career.  She was named a Change Maker in 2018 by the Center for Women in Government & Civil Society for her positive contributions and service to her community.

Attorney Braymer graduated cum laude from Albany Law School in 2009.  She graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2002 with a degree in Environmental Resource Management.
