Thomas D. Farris Shareholder with Farris Parker Hubbard, P.C., is admitted to practice in Texas state courts, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. Mr. Farris is a trial lawyer, who focuses primarily in the areas of medical professional liability (successfully representing doctors), commercial litigation, products liability, personal injury, oil and gas litigation, and general civil litigation.
Mr. Farris is a native of Amarillo Texas, and a lifelong resident. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi from The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a B.A. with Highest Honors in 1973 and a J.D. in 1976. Mr. Farris is a member of the Amarillo Bar Association, where he has served as the secretary, treasurer and director. He is also a member of the Trial Law Institute and Diversity Law Institute and has achieved the status of Senior Fellow by the Litigation Counsel of America. His civic work includes serving as a director for the High Plains Children’s Home and Family Services, Inc. He is a fellow of Litigation Counsel of America and a fellow of the American Academy of Medical Malpractice Lawyers.
