Robert D. Grundfast, Founder and Senior Partner at the firm, has been a practicing attorney in the state of New York, the state of Connecticut, the state of New Jersey as well as the state of Pennsylvania for over twenty-five (25)years. Most of his practice is in the state of New York. He handles cases in all areas of Family Law Matters both in Family Court and Supreme Court, Child Support, Spousal Maintenance, Child Arrears, Contempt of Court and Relocation Applications as well as Divorce in Supreme Court. In addition, Personal Injury, Property Damage and Accident cases together with Criminal Law Defense and Traffic Violations are his main specialties. Robert has been a Suffolk County, Long Island, resident since 1970 and has earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1990. Prior to receiving his law degree, he attended Binghamton University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude (high honors) and was the only male person to win the prestigious “Academic Athletic Prowess Award”. This award is only awarded to one male person at the entire university who has achieved over a 3.75 GPA final four (4) year grade point average as well as substantially performing for an athletic team. He played tennis for Binghamton University securing both the #1 singles and doubles places.
