Jessica joined the firm in August of 2012 and is licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri since 2013 as well as having certification to practice as a Guardian ad Litem. Her primary focus is family law including divorce, modification, child support/maintenance, child custody and paternity actions and also handles traffic tickets and debt negotiation. While working on her J.D., Jessica worked as an intern for her mother Mary J. Browning, who is the founder of the law firm. Jessica assisted with appellate cases, research and legal writing projects. During law school, Jessica also worked as intern for the Cole County Prosecutor’s Office. She was also enrolled in the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office Clinic in the Major Crimes Unit and the Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit. Prior to attending law school, Jessica spent several years working as the operations manager for a mortgage company.
Jessica grew up in Jefferson City and is the youngest daughter of Mary Browning. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri, Kansas City Law, Juris Doctorate Degree and received her Bachelor of Science (B.S.), majoring in personal financial planning with a minor in business from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a member of the Cole County Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
