Top Attorney / Top Mediator – Dana L. Curtis

Sausalito, CA/Press/December 22, 2017 – Dana L. Curtis, Attorney, Mediator & Founder of Dana Curtis Mediation, was selected for inclusion in the forthcoming Top Attorneys of North America 2017-2018 edition of The Who’s Who Directories.

Since 1991, Dana Curtis has devoted her career as a lawyer to helping parties resolve their conflicts efficiently, effectively and respectfully. She believes the quality of a mediated resolution, and of the mediation process, to be as important to the parties as the fact of resolution. Recognized as one of the first attorneys in the country to devote her career exclusively to mediation, Dana has been invited and asked to train mediators both domestically and internationally. She has been the Director of the Conflict Resolution Program at her alma mater Santa Clara University and co-teaches Mediation Disputes twice a year at Harvard Law School. Dana attributes her success to her enthusiasm, commitment and the fact that the work holds meaning for her.

Dana is the co-founder and a member of the Board of Directors of Rockrose Institute, a non-profit dedicated to solving conflict through dialogue and deliberation. She is also a consulting member of the San Francisco Zen Center’s Ethics and Reconciliation Council. Additionally, she has co-published with Brendan Ishikawa “Appellate Mediation; A Guide Book For Attorneys And Mediators’, 2016 by the American Bar Association.

Dana has been recognized by the LA Daily Journal as one of the “50 Best Neutrals” in California. She has also been honored for her outstanding contribution to the field of mediation by the Mediation Society.
