Top Attorney- Robert M. Strickler – President’s Circle Member
York, PA/Press/September 13, 2019- Robert M. Strickler (Deceased), Attorney and Of Counsel of the CGA Law Firm was selected for inclusion as a President’s Circle Member into the Top Attorneys of North America 2019-2020 edition by The Who’s Who Directories.
Robert M. Strickler served as general counsel for the York County Solid Waste and Refuse Authority and has represented the Authority since it was formed in 1971. Since December 27, 1971, he was been involved in all activities of the Authority, including the siting of a landfill in southern York County, the construction of the Resource Recovery Center located on Blackbridge Road including the issuance of a $130,000,000 Bond Issue and the full payment of the bond issue.
In addition, he has been involved with many environmental matters including the permitting of the landfill and litigation with the EPA over designation of the landfill as a superfund site. After closure of the landfill the Resource Recovery Center was constructed and the life of the Authority was extended for an additional 40 years which was necessary in order to make the most recent upgrades to the Center economically feasible.
Robert Strickler has devoted a substantial portion of his time acting as General Counsel for various corporations including Brewery Products, Master Staffing, LLC; Teto Corporation; Guildcraft Inc.; Engles & Fahs, Inc; Garrod hydraulics, Inc; King and King associate Enterprises, LLC; littlestown Dental Associates, PC; Masonic Center of York; Stoneybrook Barber Shop, LLC; and York Fish and Oyster. This representation includes all aspects of corporate work. He is involved in the development of commercial real estate and handles residential real estate closings. In addition, Robert had a substantial estate practice involving estate planning and settlement of estates.
Robert received his undergraduate degree from Dickinson College and his Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law. From 1963 to 1966, Robert was a legal officer in the United States Air Force, stationed in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and York County Bar Associations.
