In 2011 and 2012 Mr. McDonald was chosen by the National Trial Lawyers as a member of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He has also been repeatedly chosen by fellow lawyers for leadership positions in various associations including as President of the Lackawanna Bar Association (2003), President of the Federal Bar Association of the Middle District of Pennsylvania Chapter (2000-2001) and President of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers’ Association (1994). He has also served on the Board of Governors of both the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation. Mr. McDonald was selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for many years.
