Top Attorney – Damisela C. Brown
San Antonio, TX WW/Press/June 5, 2017– Damisela C. Brown, Founder and Attorney of The Law Offices of Chavira Brown, PLLC, was selected for inclusion in the forthcoming Top Attorneys of North America 2017 edition of The Who’s Who Directories.
Ms. Brown has been practicing law for over 20 years. As a student trainer for a caseworker position at the United States Catholic Conference, (Case worker, 1982 – 1984) She learned the basics of immigration and now practices in the areas of immigration, motor vehicle accidents , criminal law and family law. She is licensed with the Texas State Bar and the U.S. District Court Western District of Texas, and is federally licensed.
Damisela Chavira Brown was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Ysleta High School and attended the University of Texas at El Paso, Texas where she received her B.A. majoring in English/Psychology and her J.D. from Barry University School of Law, Orlando, Florida. She is a member of the Delta Theta Phi Sorority, The American Immigration Lawyers Association, 2004 – Present. Damisela is fluent in English and Spanish and teaches classes and seminars: Immigration Basics, Providence H.S. and Naturalization, Providence H.S.
Living in the lower valley of El Paso and having to commute downtown, Damisela Chavira Brown, lived with the daily struggle of having to dodge illegal immigrants running with their children in tow across the Rio Grande on what was then called the Border Highway. She soon realized that she wanted to help those families. She learned the basics, filling out applications, but most importantly she learned the undying issue of Illegal Immigration and the need for new policies and higher voices within the community. Ms. Brown secret to success is in doing what she loves and that is being an advocate for immigrants .
Damisela Chavira Brown is a mother of five. She has instilled both family and educational values on her children.
