Mr. Buckaway is admitted to practice by the Kentucky bar in 1961, and practice before the U.S. District Court, Western District of Kentucky, in 1961; the Eastern District of Kentucky in 1986; the U.S. Court of Appeals in 2004, the Southern District of Indiana in 1992; and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1975.
Mr. Buckaway’s practice areas include construction law, corporate and business law, international law, wills and estates, estate planning, probate law, nonprofit organization law, and real estate and zoning law. A Bowling Green, Kentucky native, Mr. Buckaway earned his B.A. from Centre College in Kentucky in 1956, and his J.D., from the University of Louisville in 1961 where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta. He is also a Member of the Board of Governors for Norton Healthcare, and an Emeritus Member of the Board of Governors for the Lexington Unit of the Shriners Hospital, He also serves as counsel for the Masonic Homes of Kentucky and Kosair Charities. Bill is a member of the Louisville, Kentucky and American Bar Associations.
