Top Attorney – Joseph F. Varrone
Trumbull, CT WW/Press/April 11, 2017 – Joseph F. Varrone Jr. with Varrone & Varrone has been selected for inclusion into the Top Attorneys of North America 2017 edition by The Who’s Who Directories. 
Joseph is Varrone & Varrone’s lead counsel in real estate matters, representing individuals throughout New Haven and Fairfield Counties as well as local and national mortgage companies. Joseph grew up in Bridgeport, Conn., where he graduated from Central High School with honors. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in English and graduated cum laude from the University of Bridgeport. Shortly afterward, with the encouragement of his twin brother John, he attended the University of Dayton School of Law in Dayton, Ohio, from which he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1980. He was admitted to the Connecticut Bar Association that same year.
Joseph’s first legal practice was with the law offices of criminal defense attorney and Bridgeport legal legend Joseph Mirsky. Under Mirsky’s wing, Joseph received unparalleled training in all types of law including criminal defense, civil, probate, and real estate. This immersion gave Joseph unique knowledge to effectively handle a variety of expected and unexpected scenarios that come up in real estate transactions.
In the 1980s, Joseph served on the Bridgeport Planning Commission. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association. Joseph and his wife Susan reside in Shelton, Connecticut, and have three sons, Joey, Michael, and Patrick. A devoted husband and father, Joseph works closely with his youngest son, Patrick, who has special needs.
