Elizabeth Reeves practices in the areas of bankruptcy and emergency management. She has worked for FEMA since 2001. She started in disaster relief work during the Bosnian War in the mid-1990’s. In August 2017 Hurricane Harvey devastated the Houston, Texas area, Attorney Reeves was there to handle crucial family home loss and legal coordination with FEMA in heavy impacted areas. Her efforts and expertise as a FEMA Logistics Reservist, has brought solace and solid footing for countless of devastated families of Houston and the surrounding areas. Attorney Reeves is also recognized for her work with FEMA during 9/11, Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Sandy. She taught for two years American Law in two Chinese Universities, Chongqing University and Sichuan International Studies University. Ms. Reeves was the first person to win an Indian rights case in the State of Maryland on appeal and the first to obtain a protective order for r
ace horses in a bankruptcy case in US Bankruptcy Court of Maryland. She published a series of articles on ART LAW in New York City’s Art and Artists magazine in 1984 on copyrights, the droit moral, and droit de suite.
