Top Attorney – Robert B. Calihan

He has successfully represented pro bono clients in a broad range of matters, including establishing important Second Circuit precedent for political asylum claims, leading a class action against New York State on behalf of foster care children, and winning a police brutality trial for a migrant worker. Mr. Calihan started Calihan Law, PLLC after almost three decades of practicing with large, full service law firms. He looks for cases where he is prepared to share risk with his clients in place of the traditional hourly fee for services model. Robert received his B.A. from Harvard College and his J.D. from Cardozo School of Law. He is a member of the International Bar Association, American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and Monroe County Bar Association.
