Sam S. Garbia serves as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer for Corporate Clients. He is responsible for leading corporate strategic growth and tactical legal initiatives. Provide senior management with effective advice on company strategies and their implementation, manage the legal function, and obtain and oversee the work of outside counsel.
Sam Garbia provides oversight and assists in the government contracting proposal and negotiating process and be responsible for compliance with all applicable government regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations and other federal contracting rules. Directly involved in complex business transactions and negotiating other critical contracts.
The firm participates in the definition and development of corporate policies, procedures and programs and provide continuing counsel and guidance on legal matters and on legal implications of all matters. Serve as key lawyer/legal advisor on all major business transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. Judge the merits of major court cases filed against or on behalf of the company.
Sam Garbia supervises litigation and bid protests, and develop policies to assure the organization’s compliance with the small business administration’s 8(a) program and GSA Schedule. Sam received his B.A. from George Mason University and his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Virginia Bar Association, and Fairfax Bar Association.
