Initially, Stanley Somer focused his practice on representing many of Long Island’s major real estate companies, both commercial and residential. Over the years, he has expanded into general practice, specializing in various areas of law and rendering services to individuals, small businesses, and public and private corporations. Mr. Somer devotes much of his time to matters involving landlord/tenant disputes, lease drafting and negotiations, condominium and cooperative foreclosure, real estate transactions, business formation and corporate mergers/acquisitions, and estate planning. He maintains a close, hands-on role with clients in all these areas of involvement. Stanley received his B.A. from Hofstra University and his J.D. from New York Law School. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, and is Co-Chairperson of the Landlord-Tenant Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Somer holds the distinction as Village Justice in Asharoken, New York.
