Michael St. Martin’s practice focuses on maritime and aviation law. He has also successfully handled thousands of personal injury cases for seriously injured people and families of wrongfully killed individuals in wide-ranging disputes during his extensive legal career. He has also litigated against Big Tobacco, Oil and Gas companies and taken on numerous other causes for justice. Mr. St. Martin was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1967 and is licensed to practice before all State and Federal Courts in Louisiana. Michael received his J.D. from Loyola University and honored by the Loyola University New Orleans, College of Law with the St. Ives Award, which is named for the patron saint of lawyers and is presented annually to alumni who have volunteered services to the College of Law or the university, maintained the highest standards of the profession, and furthered the mission of the alumni association. He is a member of the Terrebonne Parish Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Louisiana Association for Justice; founder, provider, and member of the Board of Directors, pro bono attorney for the Bayou Area Children’s Foundation, and a strong supporter of “Margaret’s Home” of The Haven, which helps battered women and is named in his mother’s honor.
