Top Attorney – John H. Elledge, III

Before receiving his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law, John Elledge did an internship at the Board of Immigration Appeals where he assisted the judges of the Board in deciding asylum cases and drafting rulings for their approval. Impressively, when living many years in Honduras, he taught in a bilingual school, developed a nationwide church youth program, and helped to establish a girls’ orphanage. He was also an executive director of a nonprofit charitable organization before working as a legislative assistant in the Virginia General Assembly and in residential and commercial real estate. John Elledge, III strongly focuses in criminal defense at both the state and federal level, immigration (especially in dealing with the immigration consequences of criminal charges), domestic, business, and civil litigation. His noteworthy success is arguing and winning a case before the Virginia Supreme Court in 2012.
