Top Attorney – Lester L. Greevy

Lester Greevy is a third generation attorney with a strong background in real estate law, civil litigation, and elder law. He is a recognized authority in the field of Oil and Gas law, always working to represents the interests of landowners in the complexities of gas leasing and the myriad issues arising with drilling and long term development of the Marcellus shale. Les is a recognized authority on Oil and Gas law and also works extensively in the fields of Elder law, and estate planning and preservation including nursing home and Medicaid planning for royalty owners and other individuals. Les has participated with the Penn State Cooperative Extension team from the onset of the Marcellus Shale Play in presenting public education seminars throughout the Commonwealth to landowners, bankers, realtors, and other lawyers which have been very effective in educating landowners about how to properly deal with their oil, gas and mineral rights and preservation of those resources. Les has also participated in Pennsylvania Bar Institute continuing legal education programs as Course Planner and faculty since the onset of the Marcellus Shale Play. He is a Certified Mineral Manager and represents private land and royalty owners and groups on title matters and issues with the gas industry negotiating oil and gas leases involving hundreds of thousands of acres.
Lester Greevy is an outdoors-man and an avid shooter. He was selected by USA Shooting, the governing body for Olympic shooting sports in the US to lead the elite team of coaches writing the coaching curriculum for shotgun sports. Les has coached 3 Olympians, as well as multiple World Cup, World and National Championship, and Junior Olympic medalists, and is highly respected by other coaches, athletes, and their families. Mr. Greevy received his J.D. from Penn State University Dickinson School of Law and is a Certified Mineral Manager. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, North Central Estate Planners Council, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Society of Petroleum Engineers, and is Director of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Association of Royalty Owners.
