Jeffrey Cox practices in the area of product liability, handling fire litigation for one of the world’s largest automakers and serving as lead counsel in cases from Montana to Florida. This year Jeff was also asked to join a small team of trial lawyers who are tasked with handling thousands of product liability claims currently pending in multi-district litigation in New York. In addition to handling high profile product liability cases, Jeff spends a considerable amount of time serving as lead and local counsel in patent matters pending in the Eastern District of Texas from some of the world’s largest makers of telecommunications equipment and automobiles. Mr. Cox received his B.S. from Oklahoma State University and his J.D. cum laude from Southern Methodist University. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, International Trade Commission Trial Lawyers Association, and Eastern District of Texas Bar Association.
