Top Attorney – Hon. Anthony J. Falanga
Garden City, NY WW/Press/July 5, 2016 –Hon. Anthony J. Falanga, Judge and Attorney with Jaspan Schlesinger, LLP Attorneys at Law, was selected for inclusion in the Top Attorneys of North America 2016 edition by The Who’s Who Directories. 
Justice Falanga began his legal career in 1963 after several years as a Federal Narcotics Agent with the U.S. Treasury Department, during which time he participated in the arrest and prosecution of an international drug smuggling enterprise and the seizure of 400 kilos of heroin. He served in the Matrimonial Division of the Nassau County Supreme Court from 2000 through his retirement at the end of 2011. During this tenure, Justice Falanga was appointed Supervising Judge of the Nassau County District Court and inducted to the Supreme Court. He has had over sixty-five of his decisions published in the New York Law Journal and the Official New York State Reporter. Before becoming a judge, Mr. Falanga was active in the private practice of law in Nassau County for over three decades. One of his most notable cases was his assignment in 1993 to represents the defendants in the infamous Long Island Railroad murders, a case which received international notoriety. Anthony received his B.S.S. from Georgetown University and his L.L.B. from Georgetown Law Center. He is a member of the East Meadow Kiwanis, East Meadow Chamber of Commerce, Association of Former Federal Narcotics Age , and the Nassau County Criminal Courts Bar Association.
