Since establishing his practice in 1984 which is devoted primarily to obtaining pate and trademarks for clients in the U.S. and worldwide, licensing and counseling, David Gordon has worked with and advised start-up companies, stock market companies, Fortune 500 companies, and individuals. He has developed patent prosecution expertise in electronics including telecommunications, integrated circuits, processors, and a wide range of electronic consumer and commercial devices, medical equipment including endoscopic, arthroscopic, and laparoscopic instruments, catheters, optical devices, needled and needleless devices such as syringes and line connectors, and oil field exploration including NMR, optical, spectroscopy, sonic, ultrasonic, and resistivity tools. He also has worked closely with companies and inventors in technologies such as diagnostic tests for diseases, wire, jewelry, security and identification, rockets, hangers, garments, exercise apparatus, diamond deposition, materials science, and insect repellents, among others. Mr. Gordon also lectures on intellectual property protection to management, engineers and the sales staff of corporate clients, and provides tutorials on the patent process and the requirements for a successful corporate patent program. David received his B.S. cum laude from Yale University and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, New York Bar Association, American Bar Association, Connecticut Patent Law Association, and the Yale Science and Engineering Association.
