James Smith has been practicing law for more than forty years, concentrating in domestic relations law, particularly litigation. He was a contributing editor of The Massachusetts Family Law Journal, and since 1986 he has published several law review articles including “Confrontation and the Child Hearsay Statute” (The Massachusetts Family Law Journal, March 1993). James received his B.A. magna cum laude from Tufts University and his J.D. from Boston College. He is a member of the Hampden County Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Massachusetts Trial Lawyers Association.
