Lauren Aviv represents foreign nationals seeking employment and family-based visas, with a focus on visas for foreign nationals of extraordinary ability, and is experienced in litigating complex removal matters.
Before practicing immigration law, Lauren was a criminal defense attorney at The Legal Aid Society in Manhattan where she acquired the unique skills and background to advise non-citizens and criminal defense attorneys regarding the intersection between criminal and immigration law.
She was also Co-Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s (AILA) NY Chapter’s Pro Bono Committee from 2008 to 2011. Ms. Aviv received her B.S. from Syracuse University and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
