Michael A. Leon is a Partner in the Firm’s Litigation & ADR, Business Finance & Restructuring and Real Estate Departments . Mr. Leon’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial litigation in both Federal and State Courts.
Michael A. Leon has extensive experience in representing individuals, corporations, committees, boards of directors and shareholders in litigation under New York and Delaware corporate law, involving issues relating to corporate governance, shareholder and operating agreements and business divorces.
Mr. Leon’s experience also includes representing shareholders and LLC members in the resolution of ownership disputes and valuations. In addition, he does a significant amount of bankruptcy litigation and matrimonial matters with high net worth equitable distribution. Michael received his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and has been recognized and awarded as a “Rising Star” in the 2013, 2014 and 2015 editions of Super Lawyers. He was also published in the spring 2004 Edition of the Hofstra Law Review for his work on “Unauthorized Pop-Up Advertising and the Copyright and Unfair Competition Implications.”
