Kimberly was selected as a 2015 Super Lawyers “Rising Star,” among the top 2.5% of lawyers in New York. She was awarded 2014’s “Top 40 People Under 40 in Rockland County” by the Rockland County Economic Development Corporation. She received her undergraduate degree from Pace University in Manhattan and her law degree from New York Law School.
She is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. She is a board member of: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rockland County, the Rockland County Bar Association, the Rockland County Women’s Bar Association, and the Columbian Lawyers Association of Rockland County. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Rockland Business Association, the American Association for Justice, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association, the New City Chamber of Commerce, and the New Jersey Association for Justice.
Kimberly A. Sofia volunteers for United Hospice of Rockland, and won the Judge’s Choice Award as a Dancer for 2015’s “Dancing with the Stars” Charity Dinner. She also volunteers for Meals on Wheels of Rockland and the Helping Hands Project where she cooks for the homeless of Rockland County.
