Deborah Hope Wayne is a collaborative lawyer and accredited mediator who dedicates her professional life to helping people resolve conflict without court intervention. She co-developed one of the first law school programs on Collaborative Practice in the United States and has served as Adjunct Professor of Collaborative Law at Pace University School of Law for eight years. Ms. Wayne’s dedication to the profession has led her to develop programs to train professionals on Collaborative Law and Mediation. She has developed and participated in numerous professional programs and has lectured at various institutions including St. John’s University, Pace University School of Law and Fordham Law School.
Ms. Wayne is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst whose training in conflict resolution includes the complex dynamics of divorce, separation and other family law matters, as well as high conflict and complex financial matters. Her practice includes the negotiation and drafting of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements .
The key to her success is her driven passion in conflict resolution. Deborah received her B.A. cum laude from Boston University and her J.D. from Pace University School of Law. She is on the Board of Directors of the New York State Council for Divorce Mediation, founding member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators, former member of the Board of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals, and member of the Family and Divorce Mediation Council of Greater New York and International Academy of Collaborative Practitioners.
