The accomplishments attained by Dr. Cathleen A. Cleary, M.D., in the field of Psychiatric Healthcare Services, warrants his inclusion into The Top Doctors of North America.
MHM was founded in 1981 to provide management of inpatient psychiatric units for medical-surgical hospitals. Today, they contract with government agencies in 14 states to provide a wide array of behavioral health and medical services in correctional facilities, state psychiatric hospitals, and other community settings. Dr. Cleary specializes in telepsychiatry and psychopharmacology.
Dr. Cleary received her M.D. from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Society. She did her Psychiatry Residency Training at Brown University in Providence, RI and is Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 1994. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Georgia Psychiatric Physicians Association, Medical Association of Georgia, Brown University Alumni Association, and Rutgers University Alumni Association. Additionally, Dr. Cleary is a National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Professional Supporter.
