Gary Zernich’s career in Las Vegas started with the Christensen Law Firm, where he primarily handled plaintiff’s personal injury cases. In late 2003, for personal reasons he left the firm and started his own practice, the Zernich Law Office. From 2003 until 2017, the Zernich Law Office grew to a small firm of 7 employees and we handled mostly family law cases, but he also kept up with the personal injury cases.
His experience includes litigation and negotiation, motions, arbitrations, settlement conferences and trials and the representation of thousands of clients.
Gary M. Zernich has been practicing law since 2001. He was initially admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey, and worked for a civil litigation firm that concentrated on debt collections. Within a year, for family reasons, Gary relocated to the State of Nevada.
He concentrates on family law, and large personal injury cases. Related family law matters include: contested and uncontested divorce, custody, establishment and modification, child relocation, child support and alimony, asset and debt division, termination of parental rights, guardianship, and protection orders.
The types of cases related to Gary’s injury practice are car accidents, motorcycle accidents, and slip and fall injuries. Gary M. Zernich graduated in the top 15% of his law school class, and ultimately passed the bar exam in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Nevada. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 2001 and his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Vermont.
Before pursuing the law, Gary M. Zernich worked in the health field selling soft goods and medical devices to hospitals and doctor’s private practices and operated Tri-State Mobile Mammography, a business dedicated to the detection of breast cancer.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Gary is a family man, and very proud to give recognition to his wife of over 25 years, and his three children, Wallace, William, and Ann. For more than 12 years, Gary helped coach a youth wrestling club in Las Vegas and traveled extensively with youth wrestlers to out-of-State regional and national level events.
Gary also enjoys physical fitness, reading, dining out and having a glass of wine with his wife, or tending to his dogs, cats, and chickens.
