His father for many years was a lawyer in Boyertown, and he has inherited his practice as well as his commitment to providing clients with high-quality legal services at a reasonable cost. Mr. Leidy was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1973 and is authorized to practice in all of the Courts in Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association , Member, 1973 – 2013, Member of the Orphans’ Court Rules Committee, 1973 – 2013, served as past president and on the Board of Directors of the “Boyertown Area Community Trust”, which merged into and became part of the “Berks County Community Foundation” in 1997. From that time forward, he served on the Allocations Committee of the Boyertown Fund of BCCF which allocated funds to Boyertown Area charities, He was also appointed to the Board of Directors of the Berks County Community Foundation in 2005 and has served since and he is active in his community, having recently served on the executive board of the Berks County Community Foundation. He served pro bono counsel and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles, Inc.
