Goldsmith, Katz & Argenio, P.C. is a well-established law firm in Springfield, Massachusetts, representing businesses and individuals, throughout Western Massachusetts. Over the past 25 years, Mr. Goldsmith has concentrated his legal practice in the area of commercial law, corporate and real estate law. He has been a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee and has served as a panelist and lecturer on a number of bankruptcy and bankruptcy related programs.
Attorney Goldsmith received a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College in 1983. He obtained his legal education at Western New England School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 1986. He is a member of the Massachusetts and Hampden County Bar Associations, American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Commercial Law League of America where he served as Chair of the New England District from 1998-1999. Mr. Goldsmith is a past Chair of the Hampden County Bar Association, Bankruptcy Committee. In 2003, Mr. Goldsmith became Board Certified – Consumer Bankruptcy Law – American Board of Certification.
In October 2013, Mr. Goldsmith was selected as the first recipient of the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Massachusetts Pro Bono Award for Western Massachusetts. He has been designated a “Super Lawyer” by Boston Magazine, and in 2009 was designated on of the Top 100 Attorneys in Massachusetts as published in Boston Magazine’s Super Lawyers’ section.
