Scarsdale, NY WW/Press/August 10, 2016 –Howard N. Aronson, Managing Partner with Lackenbach Siegel, LLP, was selected for inclusion in the forthcoming Top Attorneys of North America 2016 edition of The Who’s Who Directories.
The accomplishments and achievements attained by Mr. Howard Aronson, in the field of Legal Services, warrants inclusion into the Top Attorneys of North America. Howard Aronson has been practicing for over forty years in a variety of areas of intellectual property law. He has witnessed many significant changes within his firm, such as the expansion of designer trademarks and licensing in the 1970’s. During that time period, Mr. Aronson worked in the trademark department and was responsible for iconic designer licensing during its exponential growth. He then moved into the litigation department as the infringements and piracy of designer brands became prevalent, and eventually headed the litigation department for many years until being named Managing Partner in view of his broad experience in all facets of the firm’s operations. Most significantly, Mr. Aronson orchestrated the unique evolution of Lackenbach through staffing policies which focused on hiring only very experienced IP attorneys. Lackenbach, under Mr. Aronson’s control for the last three decades, has become renowned for its sub-specialization by attorney, permitting Lackenbach to staff matters with fewer attorneys. The Lackenbach business model, first introduced by Mr. Aronson twenty years ago, has been and remains unique, attractive to discriminating clients, and has been eminently successful.
Howard especially prides himself in being a contract author to LexisNexis, the largest publisher in the IP field, in connection with four publications: “Protecting Designs by Trademarks, Copyrights and Design Patents” Intellectual Property Counseling and Litigation, “Trademark Management” Business Law Monographs, “Corporate Counsel Solutions, Intellectual Property Management: Strategies & Tactics,” and “Acquiring and Protecting Intellectual Property Rights” Business Law Monographs. He has also authored notable articles for The National Law Journal, is the legal columnist for “Raising the Bar,” The Toy Book, Adventure Publishing Group, and was a legal educational panelist for Pace University, Insight Seminars NYC, and INTA (USTA) , as well as presented numerous intellectual property law seminars in the United States, Russia, and Japan. He was a live talk show guest on WFAS 1230 am radio, “It’s Never Too Late to Mediate,” featured in Westchester County Business Journal, and in Patch magazine, “An Intellectual Decision.” Howard received his B.S. in Civil Engineering with distinction from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and his J.D. from New York Law School. He is a member of the New York State and American Bar Associations (Patent, Trademark and Copyright Law Section), New York Patent, Trademark and Copyright Law Association, American Intellectual Property Law Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and The Federal Circuit Bar Association.
