Harrisburg, PA WW/Press/July 14, 2016 –Richard C. Angino, Attorney with Angino Law Firm, was selected for inclusion in the forthcoming Top Attorneys of North America 2016 edition of The Who’s Who Directories.
The accomplishments and achievements attained by Mr. Richard Angino, in the field of Legal Services, warrants inclusion into the Top Attorneys of North America. Richard Angino has a legal career spanning more than fifty years. He has briefed and argued more than 165 appellate cases and has authored and lectured in numerous areas of civil litigation, with a particular concentration on automobile, medical malpractice, and insurance law. Mr. Angino currently has eight appellate cases, including five against banks, four medical malpractice cases, a whistleblower case, and a negligent flood loss claim with issues of punitive damages and expert testimony. Richard received his B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College and his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Dauphin County Bar Association. He is also a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers.
Richard distinguished himself as a student athlete at Duquesne High School and Franklin & Marshall College. At Villanova Law School, he was a member of the Law Review and graduated seventh in his class. In 1965, he joined a plaintiff s civil litigation law firm; in 1967, became the firm’s principal litigator; in 1979 co-authored the Pennsylvania No-Fault Motor Vehicle Insurance Act; in 1979, received the highest Martindale-Hubbell rating of AV from his peers; in 1982, was elected President of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association; during his presidency, was the principal negotiator with the insurance industry and the legislature in the later enactment of the Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law. In 1983, he was selected as the youngest and one of only thirteen and the only plaintiff personal injury lawyer between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia in the first edition of Best Lawyers in America; he has continued to be selected in every edition of Best Lawyers from 1983 to the present; has the distinction of being the only plaintiffs’ personal injury attorney in the Greater Harrisburg metro area to be listed in Best Lawyers for thirty-two years; and has been selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer since its inception.
