She has previously served as an elected Prosecuting Attorney for Webster County, Missouri. She is a former Municipal Judge for the City of Marshfield, Missouri. Cynthia has graduated from the National Trial Advocacy College. Cynthia has repeatedly been awarded the people’s choice for Best Attorney by her local newspaper. Cynthia attributes her success to being mentored by many excellent professionals in the legal field.
Cynthia Black has been actively involved in the community. She is a former President for the Webster County Dare Association. She is the current President of the Webster County Bar Association. Cynthia is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association. She is a member and past President of Rotary. She is a volunteer teacher for Mock trial classes at Marshfield High School. She is a past Board Member of Missouri Legal Services. Cynthia Black has previously served and participated in the State of Missouri “Over the Walls” Program. She is a past member of the State of Missouri Child Review Fatality Board. She has been involved in working with and protecting victims of crimes and violence. She is the past President of the Webster County Victim’s Assistance Advisory Board. She has served in the past as a board member for the Marshfield Activities Center.
