Lynne Lechter is an acknowledged leader in complex multinational negotiations and international transactions, including international licenses and advertising agreements for the manufacturing, distribution and sale of consumer products, brand extensions and marketing. Ms. Lechter is adept at analyzing foreign commercial codes relative to how they affect the United States party to the transnational agreement. She has also handled high profile commercial litigation, claims, and arbitration, and has a diverse and extensive background in all areas of corporate and business issues. Additionally, she has transacted high-level negotiations in Israel, Thailand, France, Italy, Central and South America, as well as in the major cities of the United States, and negotiated with large corporations such as Munsingwear, Sara Lee, Vanity Fair, Martha Stewart, J.C. Penney, and Walgreens.
Ms. Lechter is licensed to practice before The Supreme Court of the United States and is a former member of the Desmond McTighe American Inn of Court, has published over twenty-five legal articles, including law journal and award winning essays on topics ranging from NAFTA, Business Ethics and Legal Structures in South & Central America, Due Diligence & Avoiding Money Laundering, International Joint Ventures to Franchising, and Regulatory Overkill. She has taught over a dozen Continuing Legal Education Courses for The Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and Montgomery County Bar Institutes. In addition to her busy law practice, Ms. Lechter has devoted herself to civic and public service, having been a committeewoman for over twenty years, was President of the Philadelphia Opera Guild, and has served on the Boards of Montgomery County Community College, Opera Philly, Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El, and the Fire & Emergency Rescue Board of Upper Merion Township. She is also a leader and on the Executive Board of the Republican Jewish Coalition in Philadelphia and various Women’s organizations. Lynne received her B.S. from Russell Sage College for Women, M.S. in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, where she was an adjunct professor. She is a member of New Jersey, D.C., Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. She and her partner, Ernest Sasso, are currently co-chairs of the International Law Society for the Montgomery Bar.
