Mr. Nason sits on many boards, 1983 – 1990 – a working member of the Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation Reform Task Force, 1991 – served as a consultants to the working group for the Massachusetts Joint Committee on Commerce and Labor (co-chaired by Senator Lois Pines and House Representative Suzanne Bump) relative to drafting the 1991 Workers’ Compensation Reform Bill. Participant in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons’ study of medical approaches to Workers’ Compensation reform, a national study, 1989; Various dates from 1986 – 1993 – Member of team of consultants to the DIA Medical Consultant Consortium, the DIA Health Care Services Board, Advisory Subgroup concerning treatment guidelines for the management of chronic pain syndrome & chronic neuromuscular skeletal injury; 1986 – a member of the 1986 Transition Team for the Rules Committee of the Department of Industrial Accidents . In this capacity, Mr. Nason assisted the DIA in the drafting and promulgation of department regulations. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, Workers’ Compensation Trial Lawyers Association.
